15 years, 15 years I have been a Personal Trainer in Five Dock. Wow what a long time. I remember all those years ago people doubting if I would be able to get out of bed at 5am each day. Little did they know. I have seen so many changes since those first days.
People's expectations have certainly changed. Social media has caused a massive social upheaval and not for the better in my opinion.
There was a time when you just came and completed a workout and that was your time away from stresses etc. Now you have to log your workout from your watch. Post it on social media. Then wait for your friends to congratulate you etc.
Also many years ago people trusted the process. They knew it would take a bit of time to get results and were patient. Now with so many images flashed in front of them each day and so many people seemingly to have the "perfect body" on Social media it leads to frustration if fitness results aren't immediate.
Here at PunchRunLift I try to explain about the need for patience and the need to see your Workouts and specifically personal to you.
It really doesn't matter what the person next to you is doing or achieving. Just be you, that is more than good enough.
If you would like to come along and try out our sessions then here is our timetable.
I'd love to design a workout plan specifically for you.
Thanks for reading,
David
